Contribute to Bridge Music
Bridge Music is an iOS app I’ve been solo-building for 3 years. It’s a unified music player that brings Apple Music + SoundCloud + local files into one library—one queue, cross-platform playlists, no app switching.
If you’re a SwiftUI dev who wants to ship real features in a real app, I’m opening the door for a small group of collaborators.
App Store:
What we’re building right now:
Explore 2.0 (music discovery)
Explore is becoming the place where users discover music inside Bridge Music.
The goal:
Show what the Bridge Music community is listening to (across providers)
Only show stuff you can actually access based on the accounts you’ve connected (Apple Music, SoundCloud, etc.)
Add Featured / New & Hot sections
Add one unified search that searches all connected providers in one view
Pick what sounds fun:
UI / SwiftUI
Explore home layout (Trending / New & Hot / Featured) + loading/empty states
Trending track cards + carousel (tap → play / add to library)
Featured collections UI + detail view (playlist-style)
Supabase / Data
Track play/save events (local queue → batch upload to Supabase with retry)
Trending query/RPC (top tracks last 7 days + last 48 hours, filtered by connected providers)
Unified search results view (Apple Music + SoundCloud results merged with provider tags)
Good “starter tickets” to jump in
How we’ll collaborate
Code contributions happen via invite-only access to a private repo and simple contributor terms so everyone’s work is credited and the project stays clean.
Small PRs, clear scope, and reviews so nothing gets messy.
What you’ll get out of this (besides shipping cool stuff)
This is bootstrapped, so it’s unpaid right now—but I will support you if you want to grow fast:
code review + feedback
optional pairing / mentorship
public credit for shipped work
help turning your contribution into a strong interview story (“I shipped X, here’s what I learned, here’s the impact”)
